The MECEE-PG 2026 is scheduled to take place over three days in the month of Magh 2082.

• Exam Dates: Magh 24, 25, and 26 (2082 BS)

• Exam Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Duration: 3 Hours

• Format: Objective (MCQs) | OMR-based

Marking Scheme & Eligibility

Candidates should be mindful of the negative marking system to optimize their scores:

• Total Questions: 200 MCQs (Equal weightage)

• Total Marks: 200

• Correct Answer: +1 mark

• Incorrect Answer: -0.25 marks

• Merit Listing: Minimum 50th Percentile required for eligibility.

Important Exam Day Instructions

To avoid disqualification, all candidates must strictly adhere to the following protocols:

• Carry the admit card and original valid ID submitted during application (Nepali applicants: original citizenship certificate or national ID; foreign applicants: passport or Aadhaar card)
• Report to the exam center at least 2 hours before the examination
• Mandatory security check before entry to the examination hall
• Electronic devices, bags, books, notes, calculators etc are strictly prohibited
• Late entry not allowed: Candidates arriving 15 minutes after the exam starts will not be permitted
• Use only the authorized pen provided in the examination hall
• Mark answers carefully on the OMR sheet
• Exit permitted only after completion of the examination time
• Unfair practices will result in disqualification and legal action
